New Feature v9.3: Where Used Tab

FileSite and DeskSite v9.3 have a new feature that can be pretty useful.  When you select your document worklist and then select a document in the worklist, you will now see an additional tab in the preview pane titled “Where Used”.  This will display which workspace and folder the document has been filed to.  More importantly, the location displayed is a hyperlink, so clicking on the location will take you to the workspace and folder where the document is filed.

If you are receiving the error message “Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request” when trying to add FileSite as a Data File to Microsoft Outlook, it could very well be that you are using Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit. The 64-bit version is not supported with FileSite.

WorkSite Attachment button missing

Is your WorkSite Attachment button missing from the toolbar when composing a new E-Mail message?

Try re-registering the IWRibbonShim.dll

regsvr32.exe IWRibbonShim.dll (from a command prompt in the FileSite installation folder).

Insert Worksite Attachment is missing from Outlook 2007

Problem
Insert Worksite Attachment is missing from Outlook 2007. Error when trying to load the add-in: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in

Solution
Add/Remove programs –> Microsoft Office 2007 –> Change
Add or Remove Features

Under InfoPath
Install .NET Framework 2.0, and then .NET Programmability Support for Office 2007.

Document Worklist not displaying anything?

Try the following:

1. Close Outlook.
2. Remove the FileSite Data file from the mail profile.
3. From the Start box, type outlook /cleanviews and click ok.
4. After Outlook opens, close it.
5. Add the FileSite Data file back.
6. Launch Outlook.

– Additionally, check to see if “Show as conversations” is checked in Outlook on the View Ribbon. If so, uncheck it and apply to all folders.

Help!!! I can’t save – get me back to Classic mode

Did you re-install or upgrade DeskSite or FileSite and find that you no longer see the profile screen you are used to when saving a document?  DeskSite and FileSite installations default to Matter-Centric mode (forcing a save to a folder within a workspace).

To return to classic mode:

Delete this key:

HKLM\Software\Interwoven\Worksite\8.0\Common\Options
